Coasting with BBC 2!

Coasting with BBC 2!

The Isle of Man – my homeland and the place from which my ancestors hail – never fails to amaze me with its beauty, so I always get really excited when I can show it to other people. This month (September!), I got to show the Island off to BBC 2 television when I sang and presented a feature for ‘Coast’.

I was asked by BBC 2 to be a contributor to one of the episodes for Series 10, an episode that I think will have quite a Celtic feel to it! Both presenting and singing Manx Gaelic songs on the short feature was exciting (I know my ten-year old self who dreamt of being a musician/Blue Peter would have been fizzing with delight!) and I loved every second of it!

The programme will be aired in summer 2015 – keep an eye out for the adverts for the series as it will be the tenth year of ‘Coast’ running on BBC 2. Below are some photos from filming…
